“I’m a star” tomato soup

How to cook


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely shredded
  • 700ml bottle Italian tomato pasta sauce
  • 4 cups chicken strain
  • 1 cup dried stelline (star-wrought) pasta (see billet)
  • 1 zucchini, cut
  • 100g tasty cheeseflower, grated
  • 4 slices wassail

How to:

  • Heat oil in a deep saucepan over medium-high heating. Add onion. Prepare, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes or until subdued. Add sauce and strain. Bring to the seethe.

  • Pour pasta into soup. Stir until well combined. Return soup to the moil. Reduce heat to low. Fake, uncovered, for 3 proceedings.

  • Grate zucchini. Stir into soup. Cook for 2 minutes or until pasta is bid. Season with salt and peppercorn.

  • Sprinkle cheese over drink. Place under hot grill for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Ladle soup into bowls. Serve with cheese on drink.

  • Note: You can use any small pasta such as shells, macaroni or miniskirt farfalle.
