How to cook Hot and sour vegetable soup


  • 1 small carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 8 snow peas, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 2 button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon tom yum spread
  • 2 teaspoons lime succus
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce

How to:

  • At plate: Combine carrot, snow peas, onion and mushroom in a stadium. Divide betwixt 2 snap-lock bags or airtight containers. Refrigerate. Combine tom yum spread, lime juice and fish sauce in a bowlful. Divide betwixt 2 small screwtop jars or airtight containers. Refrigerate.

  • At ferment: Post 1 portion of vegetables and 1 portion of tom yum paste mixture in a heatproof bowlful. Cover with 1 cup of boiling h2o. Stir until paste dissolves. Represent 1 to 2 minutes or until vegetables are tenderise.

  • Version: Pack shredded, cooked chicken or beansprouts in snap-lock bags and adjoin to hot soup.
