Spicy prawn soup

How to cook Spicy prawn soup


  • 100g rice stick noodles
  • 1 tbs tom yum spread*
  • 1L (4 cups) fish or chicken strain
  • 1 cup (100g) green beans, dig 3cm lengths
  • 150g small button mushrooms, halved
  • 20 green prawns, raw, deveined, tails integral
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Coriander leaves and lime wedges, to dish

How to:

  • Place noodles in a large heatproof trough, pour over boiling water to cover and soak for 5 minutes or until dull. Drain and set excursus.

  • Stir paste in a large saucepan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Add strain, bring to the seethe, then reduce heat to medium-low, add beans and mushrooms and simmer for 1 bit. Add prawns and cook for a promote 1-2 minutes until prawns are just cooked.

  • Place noodles in bowls and top with tomatoes. Pour over soup, garnish with coriander and serve with lime.

  • * Tom yum paste is useable from Asian and selected supermarkets.
